We encourage and make mistakes to learn not just to regret our failure but also to embrace it wholeheartedly. That even though a student faced many challenges or obstacles in life they can still find reasons to overcome and learn from it. That no money can stop them from dreaming, no hatred can stop them from doing, no failure can stop them from being what they are right now and no reasons can stop them from learning what they want to learn.

In the current situation student from Oriental Mindoro National High School only priorities the different hindrances that they may, or they encountered in their life. The student doesn’t give importance of those reasons why they can’t cope-up to their study.Mathematics is a educational subject that focuses on number and solving problem.  Chapter IIReview of Related LiteratureThis chapter presents the related literature and studies which have significant relevance on the study from which this chapter involved. According to Mustafa & Salim (2012), there are two central points influencing the students interest when it comes to studying, the individual factors and situational factors. The two factors are interrelated with each human initial interest whereby the individual can be practiced, produced or developed by situational factor that gives significant learning knowledge to every student. Then again, the interest that exists in every student can be diminished if the surrounding does not bolster the students way of studying. Mother age, attendance, income and time are the factors considered by the student that affect their performance. Mother age, turn out to be one important factors because it proves that the performance of a student is positively related to the mother’s control.

Attendance, it is true that the consistency of a student can be shown in their attendance. It reflects the eagerness of students in a way that it contributes their regularity in school. As implies by students, studying is not worthy if the performance of student is not concern by the time. And money, money can buy or get the comfort that students need to focus on their study however the income of the family influence the performance of the students because sometimes the needs that the student have cannot provide by the family (Hijazi & Naqvi, 2006).Based on the article entitled “Factors affecting High school students’ academic motivation in Taiwan” teaching and learning is one of the factors that construct the motivation or interest of students in learning. Meanwhile, the attitude of teachers and the characteristic of students in constructing ideas was engaged with the filtration of student in learning.

But contrary with that the financial manner of a student was said to be not the reason why the interest of student is gradually decreasing (Hardre et al.,2006). Chinaedum (2016), expressed that the interest of High school students relies upon teachers strategies in teaching, population of the class, government and availability of facilities. However, this factors may also be engage in creating more ideas in learning Mathematics.

Further, this factors may affect students interest in a positive or negative way.Factors affecting students’ interestin learning MathematicsA ResearchPresented to the Faculty of  Senior High SchoolAt Oriental Mindoro National High SchoolCalapan City, Oriental MindoroIn Partial FulfillmentOf the Requirement for the SubjectResearch in Daily life 2Rodriguez, Angelou ElaizaOlivares, Ara MenaOlpindo, Justine Joy2018Oriental Mindoro National High SchoolCalapan City, Oriental Mindoro
