Anne Frank was a Jewish girl who lived inAmsterdam during the time of the Holocaust.
Herlife is pretty normal. Her father is a successfulbuisness man, she has good grades, has a caringfamily, and is kinda popular. The problem is isthat she does not have a real friend. Besides hercat, that she loves to death. Of course she hasthe girls that she hangs out with, but they don’tconfide in eachother.
Therefor, she doesn’tconsider them her real friends. Then on her 13thbirthday she recieves a diary in which she putsher thoughts into or confides in. She now callsthis her friend. She even gives it a name. It isThen she meats this 16 year old boy who callshimself Hello. They start to become close and telleachother things.
When all of a sudden her oldersister Margot recieves a call-up by the Germanofficers. Her family does not want her sent to aconcentration camp, so they are forced intohiding. They run to her fathers office with thehelp of Miep and some other people that work forher father. The office is a three storie building,but the bottom floor is the only floor that isreally used. Leaving the other 2 floorssupposively for storrage. The Franks take the 2ndfloor and they’re friends, the van Daan’s, havethe 3rd floor.
The van Daan’s consist of Mr. vanDaan, Mrs. van Daan, and Peter; their 16 year oldson. Both families hardly get along with eachotherand find eachother in quarrels quite often. Mrs.van Daan and Mrs.
Frank do not get along.Anne andMrs. van Daan do not get along. Also Anne andMargot are not the best of friends at times. AndPeter is a whinner so he does not get along withhardly anyone. Anne feels that her father is theonly one that understands her at all, and thisreally upsets her mother. So the neighbors do notnotice that they are there, they have to have darkcloth over the windows at all times, and can noteven look outside.They can not have lights on atsertain times of the day, and most of all, theycan not make noises exspeacilally at night.
Topass the time by they read a lot of books. Theycan foods. They listen to the radio at night inMr. Franks old office.
Anne writes in her diary.The men make carpendry works out of the wood inthe attic.Also they can take naps, which is whatPeter does While they still have manydistractions, every little noise that they hearworries them that somebody is coming. Therefor itis very stressful. Bibliography:.
