The Bible stated that life begun, when God exhaled life into a handful of soil. Many view this as different from the scientifically based Theory of Evolution by Charles Darwin. But these two theories could be interpreted in a way so that they will jibe with each other conclusions. Theory of Evolution of Darwin was presented literally and scientifically; while the Theory of Creation in the Bible was presented in connotations. The latter in the Bible, could have meant when it declared that “Man was created by God in one day.” that the one day period was the same as billions of years in our actual times.

Thus, the act of exhaling in the Bible could be actually – the process of evolution thru several billion years. The theory of the “Big Bang” theorized that life started in the space some 13.5 billion years ago. Life came out of non- living things; and in the same manner, life on Earth started 4.5 billion years ago. Pasteur in 19th century proved scientifically that life  originated from non- living things. Combinations of chemical reactions, photosynthesis and other natural process produced life in the Carbon atoms.

MAN EVOLVEDStudies showed that primates 85 million years ago, who shares the same ancestors with the bats, who lived in Africa and other parts of the earth.  40 million years ago, they became extinct, except in some parts of Africa. These African primates migrated some 17 millions years ago, to other continents, when they were not yet separated by water. 12 millions years ago the big apes (orangutans) evolved. And 8 million years ago, the gorillas and chimpanzees appeared. Data from:  Lemonick MD, Dorfman.

The 160000-year-old man. A. Publication.2003The link of evolution between ape and man has several indirect evidences. Comparing the physical features of the two, it is glaring that the arms of apes are longer than men; while the legs are shorter than that of the man. These are due to the degeneration of a body part if it is not frequently used.

An ape always uses his arms when swinging from branch to branch of a tree. His legs degenerated, because in the jungle, it is seldom used. The opposite is the case for man. As to intelligence, we could observe that slaves act differently from their masters.

But it is a fact that they have the same size of brains. Again the reason for this is the frequent use of mental faculty by man as compare to the ape.The intellect, the magnitude of which separates the human from all other animals, developed slowly over the years or more of the human development. The intellect is not unique to the human; it is quite well developed in a number of the other higher animals.

The intellect developed as a control over instincts. The human is designed by nature to modify any behavior that would normally be instinctive to one that would provide benefit. Using tools was evidence of intelligence. And this happened 2.

6 million years ago, when Homo Habilis, with brains haft the size of human brains, learned to use stone tools. Then from Homo Habilis, evolved Homo Ergaster. They refined the stone tools then. That was Paleolithic or early Stone Age period.

Homo Erectus came 1.5 million years ago, known as the specie that uses his two legs to transport himself, standing up. Homo Erectus refined the stone tools to be more effective.

One of these was the stone axe. They also discovered the use of fires. Then from these evolved the Homo Sapiens, frequently referred to as the “wise men”; whose brain was almost similar to man. The use of bow and arrow was discovered.

Simple form of painting where discovered this during these times.  These evolutions all happened in Africa.TWO THEORIES OF THE ORIGIN OF MODERN MANThere were two conflicting theories about how Homo Sapiens evolved from Homo Erectus.

One theory was the Multi-Regional Origins of Homo Sapiens.  It theorizes that Homo Sapiens evolved from indigenous Homo Erectus in a particular continent. There were no doubt other human migrations out of Africa before this time. For example, ancient human remains dating from 100,000 to 120,000 years ago have been unearthed in what is now Israel. These African primates migrated some 17 millions years ago, to other continents, when they were not yet separated by water.

This could be true. But Mitochondrial DNA tests on fossils found in these areas did not indicate any Homo Sapiens descendants of these regional Homo Rectus survived. May be they became extinct or did not evolve as Homo Sapiens.

Or these studies have not yet found their descendants somewhere else. Data from: Oppenheimer, Stephen. Film: The Real Eve. Britain:Granada TV. 2002The second is the African Origin theory, using Mitochondrial DNA evidences tend to support that all the present Homo Sapiens evolved from East Africa 200, 000 years ago, and begun migrating to other continents 70,000 years ago. One thing unique about Mitochondrial DNA is that it is carried and transmitted by the mothers (female) only, of the series of generations. This is useful in tracing the roots of man, because the lineage is not disturbed by the male genes. Studies showed that all ancestors of man could be traced to a group(About 10,000) of Homo Sapiens who live in East Africa, some 150,000 years ago.

About 80,000 years ago, world’s climate began to cool due to melting of glaciers, which turned much of Africa into arid desert. And roughly about this time, migration out of Africa was noticed. Genetic evidence traced this journey from Africa to Arabian Peninsula, toward India, and Southeast Asia. It reached Australia, before it swung to Europe. Oppenheimer opined that the only way out from Africa is southward thru Yemen.

It can not be northward because it was futile to traverse the arid Sahara desert then. Data from:  Lemonick MD, Dorfman. The 160000-year-old man. A. Publication.2003Humanity would be struggling to support a massive population of 11 billion. Global warming raises sea levels.

The ozone layer weakens. Most of the available land is devoted to agriculture due to the demand for food. Despite all this, the oceanic wildlife remains, specifically the commercial farmed fish.  Dr.

Robert Ward predicted that man’s extinction will come in about 10 million years. The human species is set to evolve within a thousand years into a ‘coffee’ colored race of 6 ½ foot giants who can live up for up to 120 years, according to a new research project released today by evolution expert Dr Oliver Curry of the [email protected] research centre at LSE. The report predicts that the human species is set to reach its peak in the year 3000, growing taller and living longer thanks to improved nutrition, lifestyles and increased medical knowledge. They will also modify themselves – through technology or otherwise – to attract partners and will therefore be better looking. ‘Race’ will also be a thing of the past – by the year 3000 all humans will have ‘coffee’ colored skin.CONCLUSION- Evidence show that the theory of evolution of Darwin still holds. As of now, the claim that we all came from that woman from East Africa is supported by many evidence. But we can not discount the possibility that the modern man might have other ancestral roots.

Our features are almost similar. Man has practically the similar height, weight, lifespan, physical capabilities, and degree of intelligence, sense of sight, sense of smell, sensitivities and many others. These similarities in many things, indicates that we are all relatives.Despite the sweeping saga of migration and branching of the human family tree over the past 7,000 generations since “Eve”- perhaps the most startling result of the new picture of human evolution was how they are very closely related. In fact, the research revealed that there was less genetic variation among man, than apes among its species. Man has never cross bred with other animals outside his specie. These studies never showed any hints toward this direction; even during these times, when man was still uncivilized.

If that happened, then we could have now some half horse-half men. Man was so protective of his superiority that he avoided cross-breeding with other species. These could have produced very intelligent pigs, or humans with wings. Maybe, this is possible in the future. Some said that bacteria are more advanced than humans, because they evolved several times already, and are more capable in many ways than man.

– except for his intelligence.
