During that time, the continent encountered a lot of conflicts. The positive appeal of the church through the teachings of Christ has inspired the people of Europe to follow His example, immediately raising the power and influence of the church (“The Church” n.d.).

Taoism and Buddhism on the other hand are religions, unlike Confucianism. These two were two opposing religions but eventually they adapted the traditions of each other.

They have defined religious schemes such as nuns, priests, temples, and other rituals.
