Technology is growing at
a very fast pace according to the requirements of the users. With this letter I
want to express my desire and views. My name is Suheb Md, I have completed my undergraduate
studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering at GITAM University Hyderabad. GITAM
University is ranked among the top 10 universities in India and is known for
its excellent academic record. Pursuing my studies in Mechanical Engineering I
have learnt all the principles, tools and processes required for various
machine tools and for the working of different machines. I have a vision to
reach the pinnacle of success with my innate potential, knowledge and positive
attitude. In my opinion Graduate study is the next step to further increase my
knowledge and potential in order to succeed and reach my goals.

My love for machines
developed since my childhood days, I was fascinated by the movement of wheels
of a car and would be anxious to know its’ working. After completing my
schooling I found out that to pursue my career in the world of machines I need
to opt for mathematics and physical sciences stream so, I took that and
performed well in that course. After giving an entrance examination for my
undergraduate studies GAT and scoring a rank of 124 out of 1 lakh students I
was privileged to get admitted into GITAM University with Mechanical Engineering
as my intended major. During this course I have developed interest in
Automobile Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Machine Design and Power plant Engineering.
I performed  consistently well in my undergraduate
exams and secured an aggregate cgpa of 7.94/10.In this period of my study I
could shape up my skills in a productive manner and now I would be intrigued to
use my knowledge to do Master’s in your esteemed university.

Initial
years at GITAM University were very crucial for developing new skills and learning
softwares that are used in designing and simulations. I learnt softwares like
Auto cad, CATIA V5, ANSYS for better understanding of design specifications and
other mechanical properties of materials and machines. I have also excelled in
the Auto Cad examination and received a professional certificate from Autodesk.

Learning
the design and simulation softwares helped me choose and get approval for my
major project as “Dynamic Rover Suspension”. It is a type of suspension used in
Mars Rover it is called as Rocker Bogie Mechanism. The Rocker-Bogie design
consisting of no springs and stub axles in each wheel which allows the chassis
to climb over any obstacles, such as rocks, ditches, sand, etc. that are up to
double the wheel’s diameter in size while keeping all wheels on the ground
maximum time. As compared to any suspension system, the tilt stability is
limited by the height of the centre of gravity and the proposed system has the
same. I was the leader of the team and was involved in major portions of the
project like designing, testing and fabricating the rover. The finished product
was very accurate according to the dimensions and performed according to the
proposed specifications and I received an outstanding grade for my project.
