The article illustratesthe issue impeding women from realizing their full potential from working. Theissues are employers’ support, disparity in income and support from menespecially spouses. The author optimistic that they can be game changers to theglobal economies by being a leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.

The first issue is fromemployers’ support. The employers’ need to offer flexible working arrangementfor women so that they can manage their life-work balance. For instance, employers’ may offer flexible working days, allowing them working from home orflexible start and end of work schedule.Besides that, the issueof disparity in income. Nowadays, even though women are better educatedcompared to men, they still earn less than men at every level of job spectrum. It became a norms in the corporate world that men are promoted based onpotential while women are promoted on the past performance of work. The author furtherhighlights is the issue of support from men especially spouses.

Usually, menwould think that women are passive and dependent on men and that makes womenlooks weaker. The old view persist that women should stay at home to take careof their children and do household chores while men work to support theirfamily. We totally disagreewith the author that women need support to stay at work. This is becauseeverything that they do depends on women itself. Women have the right to choosewhether to speak up to get involve in a career life or even to be timid and donothing. But they will lose everything if they keep being quiet with their owndesire. Therefore, when the dire to work arises, women should stop complainingand solve the issue themselves as all of it start with their own will.

This isproven that women need to be independent in managing their own life as womennowadays can also hold the responsibilities in changing global economy in life.As a conclusion, womenneed to use their creativity to earn a living as they might lose their careerif they never speak up. It is not too late for women to break the stereotypesand create a new history to reach the peak of their career.

Hence, women needto take the issues regarding employers’ support, disparity in income andsupport from men as challenges to move forward in order to change the world.                                                                                                              (399 words)
