Havingearned Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from S.R.M Instituteof Science and Technology, I had a keen interest in taking up managementcourses. Apart from the full-time degree, we also had options to choose courseswhich were not a part of the departmental curriculum. This is where I startedattending management courses, including Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship. Ialso ended up being a part of the managing committee of a domain in thetechno-management fest of the university. This certainly helped me in acquiringproper explanatory and communication skills.
Inaddition to my experiences in the university, I further developed my skills asan Intern at Jet Airways (India) Pvt. Ltd, where I planned maintenanceschedules and was given some opportunities in the interim-level administrativework. I also interned in the Electronics Department in Raymond’s’ Limited whereagain I was associated with planning, evaluating, and managing the components maintenanceschedules. These individual experiences added a significant amount of learning opportunitiesabout various aspects present in the corporate as well as technical managementsectors. Finallywith the continuous practical work and under the monitoring of the experiencedprofessors at Hult Business School, I am confident enough to thoroughlycultivate my thinking skills, reasoning and managing capabilities.
