WirelessNetworking is an enticing career field.
Networking involves mostly hard workand competition for the high-quality positions. Due to my greater interest incomputer field, I had graduated in Computer Applications. Since, I have chosenWireless Networking as my field of study. I am amenable to put my efforts onbeing good at it. A number of paid placements exist in networking, each with swingingsalaries and long-term career prospective.The basicjob titles for computer networking and networking-related positions include:Ø NetworkAdministratorØ Network(Systems) EngineerØ Network(Service) TechnicianØ Networkprogrammer/analystØ Network/InformationSystems Manager)Among thesepositions, I prefer to be a Network Administrator because it is one of the highranking posts one could achieve in an IT field. A network administrator is theone who contrivance, handles and troubleshoot networks. It is their duty toconduct a detailed study about the company’s necessity and organize the systemsto function through the entire building.
My technical knowledge, problemsolving skills, punctuality and good communication skills could definitelysatisfy the constraints of becoming a Network Administrator. Hence I couldprove my expertise and become exceptional in what I always wanted to be.There are alot of markatable networking companies in the world such as Cisco, IBM, Amazon,Google, Microsoft etc. All these companies vary greatly in terms of theircultures, rules and practices. Each has their own unique brands, say googlewhich is named after its own company. Wireless telecommunication progressincreased requirements on networks and the experts that support them.
Ensuringthe technology is optimally constructed, monitored, and backed is paramount toachieving business outcomes and requires a workforce of skilled wirelessprofessionals. So these companies open up wide range of job possibilities tothe IT graduates.After a lotof enquires, I found that the company Cisco keep up their cultures, which issimilar to that of mine. Cisco is a multinational corporation, headquartered inSan Jose, California, United States that designs and manufactures networkingequipment. It is said to be the largest networking company. I always wanted toget employed in a MNC like Cisco.
In order to achieve my aim, I prepared myselfand successfully passed CCNA examination.At Cisco,there was a systematic way of organizing a particular culture – usually byasking the company employees. They created an “Our people deal” whose mottoincludes the following three characteristics:Ø ConnectEverythingØ InnovateEverywhereØ BenefitEveryoneOnce it wasdeveloped, the senior leaders were responsible to elaborate and role model it,and the employees to understand their role in it. The basis of the success of acompany like Cisco is its glassdoor reviews, according to which the human resourcesand their thoughts are the asset to a company. The victory of a company couldbe earned only if the leader reach out and listen to the opinions and thoughtsof their workers.
